    Wiring 22V for Tower Speakers?

Should the 2005 22V that I am in the process of buying have the holes in the bottom of the feet and the deck to run wires easily(relatively) up the tower for speakers??? It is the factory tower with the Power Premium Stereo, and yes I am going to install a dedicated amp for the tower speakers. Of course any suggestions on this process will be appreciated.
    Thanks!

There is a whole in the tower base but not in the deck.

Is there enough room for me to get in there with a right angle drill? Or is it suggested to take the tower off?

Unbolt the tower from the boat in the rear and swing it to the side just enough to drill the hole in the deck.

Am I correct to assume that the hinges will have the little wire pass through to get the wire all the way up to the top??? I have not asked my dealer that yet and have not taken delivery of the boat to look myself.

You will need to drill two holes in the tower. Above and below the joints. Then use shrink wrap to protect the wires over joints. Use these to connect the wires where the tower will be disconnected from the boat. (if/ when you fold it down.)

On the 2005 tower all the wire will be hidden untill the speakers.

That's cool. ... My appologies. Definitely a cleaner look, and you don't have to worry about knocking them, cutting them, or having the sun wear out the connectors.

                  Tower Wiring

I used connectors at the joints in the tower for the speakers and the light so I can break down the tower in about 15 min with two people helping. This way when I put he boat away for exteneded times I can protect the investment in the speakers and lights. I have a secure storage location that is connected to the home alarm to protect items when I am away from home. Then I purchased an RV cover to cover the boat, trailer, and trailer tires to keep the sun rot and wear of of the whole thing when it is not in use. In addition it provides some extra security for the boat at it takes 10 min to take the cover off to access the inside of the boat. Then they need to get through the canvas cover that snaps on after that cover.

Thanks for the info on wiring, did it Sunday. Kind of a pain to get the wire through initially but sucking dental floss through with a shop-vac and then pulling a single wire through to pull the speaker wires through worked great. Does anyone have a good quick-release style speaker clamp they could suggest purchasing. I am not too happy with the fixed ones I bought and am thinking I might like to be able to take the speakers off since you can see them over the fence. I trust my neighborhood...but only so much.

                      Speaker Connectors

TIGE' factory set up my factory speakers with the SPEAKON connectors. Here is the link to buy the connectors. They are great and I love them. My brother in law uses them on his DJ Equipment because they are fast and easy to plug in and unplug. Plus they provide a great connection. Here is the link. If you call them on the phone they generally give a better price on the product. the picture only shows one side of the connector you will need both male and female sides of the connector and the femail side mounts right into the speaker tube. If the link below does not work go to www.pssl.com and type in to the seach on there website SPEAKON Connectors. this will bring up the connector. I love it. it weathers good and takes a great beating and never seems to fail.
