    Checking engine hours on a 2001 2100V

Hello Tige community, I have a quick question that I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with. I have a 2001 Tige 2100V limited, with a Merc 5.7mpi engine. I'm thinking of selling my boat in order to get something newer. However, I cannot find the engine hour reading anywhere. There's no gauge in the instrument cluster that seems to have it (I think the perfect pass gauge may have been installed in the spot where the stock gauge was). I checked the faria depth finder and the perfect pass, which both show zero hours. Does anyone know if the 2001 engines have any other way to check hours? Maybe an analog hour reading somewhere in the engine compartment, or a spot to hook up a diagnostic computer? Any help you may have would be greatly appreciated!

I have an 02 and my meter is in the glove box on the right side. Not sure about other ways to check but I suspect you'll get some good advice from other members.

My hour readout is located on the RPM gauge

If you don't find the hour meter. There are only two ways I know how to determine the engine hours. Either have the dealer pull it off the ECM or remove the ECM and send it to these guys.

Thanks for the input guys! No luck with an hour meter in the glovebox or the RPM gauge. I'll probably just take it down to the dealer and have them take a look. I appreciate the replies!
