    problem with comeing out of the hole with ballast

    i have a 99 21v riders with the 350 mag 315 hp. motor and the 1 to 1 black velvet drive i am running a 13 x 13 1/2 prop when i add 600 pd. of ballast and have more than 4 people in the boat it wont come out of the hole some people have said my trans is slipping but we cheched and its not also to try a new prop i have a 12x12 1/2 but i have not got any one to tell me if that prop is better or what will work better i talked to tige and they told me nothing will work at all ecept changeing my trans to a gear reduction trans but that is like 4000 dollars i was hopeing that other people with an older v drive i figured out what will work best i would like to run 1200 pd or more ballast and about 4 to 5 people to get that bigger wake but from what tige told me i fill like i might just need to sell my boat and get a new boat with a better trans please please help

      are you putting any weight in the front? give that a try to help her get up on plane

        Not that I could understand what you where saying very well. My advice would be that you are over proped. I'd try a 12x12 or 12x11.5 prop without much cup, call Amce and they will sort you out.

        I run a 12x11.5 prop and it gets out of the hole fully loaded without any drama's
