This may not be an issue, I'm coming from a boat that was half the dry weight and the same engine.
So this morning I had 1000 pounds of passengers, at least 1000 of ballast and it takes the boat 2 -5 min to plane a get to a good wake-boarding speed of 20 -22 mph. With the TAPS on it won't go over 16mph. I thought it was my perfect pass, cause it never worked, so I pulled the power from the control unit. That helped a little, but I still feel like with the throttle all the way down I should be able to push more than 3000 rpm and pull up a rider in less than a min.
BTW the prop looks good.
Could this by my throttle cable?
