These forums provide lots of entertainment for Tequilla and I, so I figured I'd get you going again in case you were stuck in a rut

Hey, I know, my kids used to watch some show with a character named Metal Graymon...I used to tease them by referring to him as Plastic Graymon...perhaps we should refer to Mr. TITANAE as Plastic Avalancheman?
Isn't TITAN AE some sort of comic? Am I a geek for knowing that? I guess guys that are into comic strips don't like me? How odd is that?

Back on topic (is that possible from here), a close freind of mine has a Titan. Nice truck. Real nice truck actually. He doesn't tow anything with it but it seems like it would do OK. Anybody know the torque ratings for those Nissan V-8s?
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

      Hey Tequilasun,

Hard to tell what was going on. I will say that previous to buying my Titan, I owned an F-150 and previous to that I owned a 1500 Z-71; and the Titan is the best all-around towing truck I've owned. IMO, it has the best torgue and highway towing capability of any of the three trucks I've owned. But it does have their full Tow Package, as well as their Off-Road Package, so everything is beefed up compared to their basic truck. I've been extremely happy with it.

My only compaint is that I bought an '04, which was it's first model year and it has had a few more squeeks and rattles than either my Ford or Chevy, but they've worked extremely hard to take care of it and upgraded some of the parts to 2005 items.

Other than that, I have loved the truck. As far as half-ton trucks go, it's a monster for towing.

I will say that I'm now starting to consider a 3/4 ton diesel. Simply because of the amount of time that I'm on the road...towing a 22Ve'. As of the end of my next road trip, which will be on the 19th, I will have towed my boat more than 9,400 miles since January 1st.

Titan is full-size power, all truck, and no compromise. The 5.6-L 305-hp V8 Endurance engine produces up to 379 lb-ft of torque. Available towing up to 9,500 lbs of maximum capacity.

        Got that from their website.

Here is pic. of our boat being towed by a tractor at Lake Powell, Antelope Point Marina.

The Titan was going to be my second choice, but I liked the ultra-quiet ride in the F-150 better.

              Thanks Nick!

I don't know what was up with that dudes situation either, it just seemed really weird.

Your obviously a good person to talk to about the Titan and towing. Glad to know it pulls that 22Ve so well.

              Team, dog...

              Isn't that tractor a Ford?

              Just wondering

                  Fellas,
Im still here. DOGBERT my AV is WBH (minimal plastic, sail panels bedcovers) Thats not that much. Its to much for me though It will be painted to match sometime. Its not wraped in plastic like some though, not that I dont like the body armor style its just the gray plastic color that bothers me I have seen some that had all the plastic painted and they look sweeeet!

Yes TITANAE was a comic/movie however my screen name has a different meaning. The big Dane in the pic of my truck is TITAN.

I dont think there is a full size crew cab truck I dont like its just the MIDGATE feature is an awesome thing to have. As far as power goes I dont think I have ever owned a truck that I didnt wish had more power, disels, big blocks, supercharged small blocks there is always a want for MORE MORE MORE POWER. Its something programed into the male dna code.

You got that right. MORE MORE MORE POWER!

I didn't see if the tractor was a Ferd. It is Ferd blue. But, it is a tractor first. Forget 24 inch wheels. Those things are like 48".

It's a Ford tractor, alright. It's probably got more torque than anything they put in a pickup these days.

Ford owns them, hence the name Ford/New Holland, kinda like CASE/IH

Yes, I know Ferd owns New Holland. Isn't New Holland blue a little different than Blue Oval blue? I'm just trying to sound smart man. That star on your chest is gettin' a little big. Must be a Texas star eh?

You might be right about that. It's probably more true for older tractors. Of course, if you go back far enough, Ford tractors are red and gray.

As for for the star, be careful tough guy, we all know you're a softee at heart
