    Flushing 2013z3

Just did my preliminary system check in my drive way which included starting the boat using a fake a lake. When the engine was running and water coming out exhaust flap in rear I also noticed water exiting from the where the drive shaft enters the boat hull. This is my first wake boat so don't know what is normal. Should water be exiting the drive shaft area? It was a constant light stream.

    Thanks,

    Mike

I'm almost 100% sure that the shaft seals they use now push water past instead of letting a tiny stream into the boat. That is completely normal.

Yep the dripless packing glad is water cooled. If you look inside the boat you will see where the feed line attaches from the cooling system.

I'd used a fake a lake on an i/o before but never an inboard. What does the adaptor look like?

If you mean it looks like this:

...then yes, that's a "wet" shaft seal and is exactly what you want to have happening.
