on the axis at that speed is pretty clean.
Lastly, I don't really care for our local tige or MB dealers. I have talked to both of them and wasent very impressed with either. There are some other things that go along with that but I won't get into it. The sales manager at our local axis dealer is a friend of mine. He is all for me buying a tige. He used to sell them at a different dealership, that has been closed for a few years.

Talked to my dealer today. He said the boat is all around BIG. The interior is top notch and big. During the dealer meeting he was told the boat was finished with 2 weeks of 19 hr days to have it ready for the meeting. They are probably 4-6 weeks out before they can start manufacturing the boats for customers. And nobody would talk price but his guess was all of $100k. He said that he did not realize that the engines are made specifically for Tige no crossover from other boat manufacturers.
He also told me that there will be a 25 foot version coming. Plus this is not just a wakeboard boat. He was told the surf wave is also top notch. He said there will be more videos coming soon."You're rather attractive for a beautiful girl with a great body."

Looks bada** and I am glad Tige has stepped up the game. Can't wait to see it in oerson and some day getting a pull. The R&D video was a good one to watch. They sure need to do a whole lot promotional videos and anything a person interested in the sport to watch and get the hype going. Those on WW don't know what they are talking about. I have been all over a G boat so I am interested in how this one compares. Perhaps some day I will have one. Can't wait to see the surf wake.Wake Up or Stay On Shore!

That's exactly why I won't be seen in any of those boats because I don't have the ego to back it up.Originally posted by McSpoon View PostYou judge me in one breath, and in the next call me ignorant and stupid!
HYPOCRITE! But I forgive you.
Did you even read the comment I quoted when I said that? I don't see anyone trying to stir the pot with that guy?
Is is just because I'm new here? I have to earn my place or something? I'm not part of the Tige clique? That is exactly the kind of attitude I can't tolerate.
For the record, there are plenty of Tige guys on WW defending Tige, they use the same names on there......see for yourself and read the ASR thread.......but what do I know? I"m sure that what I say falls on deaf ears anyway.
By the way: Did you ever consider that the attitudes people have towards the boats they own or don't own is perpetuated by the manufacturers? Read through some of the literature on the home pages of each manufacturer. Even Tige slams the use of drag devices used by other companies to create surf waves when Tige says how their hulls are better designed and don't need them.

It is a reasonable discussion that some manufacturers seem to perpetuate a certain attitude. But I would not let that attitude steer me away from a specific boat. For example, I don't particularly care for some of the attitude that Mastercraft marketing generates. But when I sold my last Tige, the best used boat I could find at the best price happened to be a Mastercraft. I had a ton of fun with the X45, and it served me pretty well. I had to swallow my feelings for the manufacturer, and objectively analyze the boat. It was the best I could get at the time.Be excellent to one another.

Talltigeguy,
I forgive you. I think we just misunderstood eachother, that's all. It's just that in my neck of the woods, there is a huge boat scene because of the sheer number of lakes we have. There are a few of the big three dealers that dominate the lakes area in the west suburbs of Minneapolis where I live. There is definitely a certain attitude that seems to capture the owners of these brands. As an example: there are something like 20 bays on Lake Minnetonka where I live , it's huge, look it up! There are tons of channels to navigate through and every boater you pass by as your cruising the no wake zones gives the "boater wave" to acknowledge you and say "hey boat guy, what's up".. The strange thing is the wakesetter/axis guys and mastercraft guys just glare me down as I wave and say "hi". And the Nautique owners are just in a complete class of their own, I'm not even worth glaring down, to them, I don't even exist. This happens when cruising by another boat on the lake, no exchange of courtesies. Every boat we test drove before buying our Tige was no different. Every owner of brand x was so overtly bashing every other brand during our test drives, it was ridiculous! Some of them were so adament that their boat surfed the best of any brand boat, while they also said their boat was the only one they had ever surfed??? Then we arrived at the Tige dealer who encouraged us to check out every other boat and compare them so that if we ended up back at his dealership to buy a Tige, we could be confident that was the boat we liked the best. He said Tige boats speak for themselves.
I realize a lot of people probably agree with you, that my comment was dumb. In retrospect, I could have worded it better. Until those attitudes change around here(my lake), I don't want to be a part of the problem. All of the Tige owners are really cool here and I'm happy to be part of the community, it's just too bad that those other guys will only ever scoff.
I'm just hoping that as Tige grows and continues to push the envelope, and the attitude surrounding the company that made it what it is today, will remain.
ASR: My dealer has no clue how much it's going to be either. He happens to be a pro surfer and was at the unveiling, drilling everyone for info, no dice! He did say the new Tige touch is way nicer and easier to use, better resolution and touch sensitivity. He said that it's the nicest interior that Tige has produced and that there is more storage than you will ever need. He echoed what seems to be the big question: "How does it surf?"
I will say this: I ran into a friend of mine whose name will be nameless, he is a pro surfer/snowboarder and rides for Liquid Force. He was out with Dominic and Chase just after they rode behind the ASR and he told me they were both really impressed with that boat.Last edited by McSpoon; 10-12-2013, 03:18 PM.

At Lake Powell, it seems the Malibu owners usually think they own the lake. And they generally seem to be the least educated about how to be courteous with a wakeboat. It sounds like your dealer knows how to appeal to upstanding, good people. So he is likely to sell more boats to that crowd. Anyway...back to the ASR!
If Dominic and Chase liked the wave, then that is awesome. I will be stoked to see someone who is not on the payroll check it out.Be excellent to one another.

I really like how Tige incorporated so much function into the interior just based on the pictures. The coolerr in the walk way is brilliant so people don't have to keep moving out the way to get something to drink or eat, also the garbage can and mini cooler in the middle of the floor for easy access. The 3,000lb under floor ballast so you can actually use the v-drive compartments is huge, I hate having to keep moving life jackets from one to the other depending on which sac we fill up (jumbo sacs). I typically have 8-13 people on my boat at all times so space and storage is huge for me. Now I just need to hit the lotto or receive a very large raise.
