    Is the motor mount correct?

I'm hoping I found the source of my vibration. I noticed that the three mounts below had the bottom nut loose and all the way down against the mount. I tightened them up and torqued the top to pinch them right as referenced in the pic. Is this correct?

Mount looks right to me. You have to be careful just tightening it down because you can throw off the coupler alignment between the output and the shaft. So you prob need to check the alignment. I'm not the best with that so I'll let one of the other guys explain the best way to check it.

I thought the same thing. They are set where they are to align the engine to trans to coupler. Now if they were loose and you got them exactly back where they were your fine. But couple alignment world in thousandths so I bet they aren't exactly back where they belong. Like Ruger said I think you need an alignment. Running out of alignment can cause major damage to alot of components. You vibration could very well be from alignment, or out of alignment as the case may be.

Well shoot. That's what I was afraid of. How do I measure it? Or do I need to take it in?

Do I simply put a feeler guage between the output flange and the shaft flange and make sure it's even and within spec of .oo3-.007?
