Okay I can order the 2013 z3 platform are you sure that those brackets will work on a 2008 rz2?

I don't know how the measurements will work but there are no refunds so it would be horrible to get the platform and have it not work!!

Thanks again for all the help you guys are awesome!

Thanks guys I really appreciate all this. Hopefully soon enough (before this season is over) ill have some pics of the old wake compared to new wake with the exact same weighting to compare.

And also of a 2008 tige with a beautiful new platform!

Why would you order a Z3 platform and not an RZ2 platform with the convex VX? I think there would be more work to get a Z3 platform to work than just ordering an RZ2 platform.

I can help you get the brackets mounted up.. Cause the Z3 platform is smooth top and bottom.. The RZ2 2013 and down is not smooth.. And I tell him this cause its excatly what I would do if I could do it over again.. I have like 30 hours in my platform.. The time I wasted I could of bought the z3 platform witch if alot like my end result. If to get the convex he will end up spending 4K++++

The bottom of the platform doesn't matter with the VX right? I'm concerned about the VX lining up with the hull shape, the z3 has a different transom shape from the RZ2. All he should need to do is unbolt his old brackets, see where the new ones need to go, see if the old holes can be used or seal the old ones and drill new ones. Unless there is a picture to show the convex VX fits the same bottom profile from the Z3 to the RZ2, I would order the RZ2 parts.

If he's going to do a VX, you order the whole shootin match, brackets, platform and VX.

Correct, so why would he order the Z3 and try to McGuyver it to fit the RZ2?

Here's a question - if the Z3 platform performed better on the RZ2 than the current one, why wouldn't Tige just use it? Why go through all of that hassle to make a separate platform for the RZ2/4 if the other one performs better? The RZR/Z3 have the same design. I'm guessing that there is nothing wrong with the current RZ2 platform and they like the design/look of it better than the rounded corner Z3 version.

Are we talking about just the swim platform or the entire swim platform with convex VX? If its with the convex VX then the bottom doesn't matter but if its just the platform then I can see how the new platform makes a difference. But I still wonder if the z3 platform will line up against the transom and if not how much cutting and and glasswork will be required to make it fit like the factory platform.

I'd love to get the convex vx if that improves the wake, but my dealer told me tige only makes it for 2013 models and up.

They said maybe in 2-3 years they will have a vx hull for older boats but that's not even a sure thing...
