    2008 Rz2 tige platform

Looking to help out our surf wake as much as possible. Is there a way to upgrade the 2008 factory platform as it seems to be cutting into the wake and sort of double creating it?

Also would it help to get the new x convex hull upgrade? (Or whatever it is sorry)

    Thanks!!!

There are some post on here about cutting platforms down and different things you can do. Try a search and see if any thing looks good to you.

The Convex VX is not available for any older boats as of now from what has been posted. They only go on the current bracket set up which covers 2013's and if I recall correctly 2012's. Not an option on your 2008.

On my old 2007 RZ2 I upgraded the platform to the 2011 platform which was improved for the surf wake. It used the same brackets. Not sure if you can get a hold of an old platform though.

Yeah I searched and seen your platform switch Matt. Also seen and got done pics from Timmy's? Thread on it.

I contacted my dealer to ask about it and he said he would look into it but I have not heard back so I have my doubts. Do I have to go through a special dealer?

If possible I wouldn't mind ordering one right to my house and installing it on my own. I have all the tools I would need and such...

I've tried searching but can't find much, it's also hard since I don't own a computer or Internet just my phone so if someone could recommend a place to me I would really appreciate it!!

        I live in alberta Canada

Ty!!!! Appreciate all the help so far definitly getting further in my searches ands king progress thanks to you guys

If you can't track down a newer platform, check out Duncan's thread. I think his platform is similar. I added a flap to my boat and it really helped clean it up spray from fae. I did not have a platform issue though.

Look for a thread that Wickedcummins did too. He cut his down and re-gelcoated it and all sorts of stuff. As I recall, it's a pretty informative post.

yes sir.. But my best advise to someone at this point would be to buy new brackets for a 2013 and install them with the new deck =)

The 2009 swim platform was actually quite a bit smaller than the 2008. The flap should help some but you really need a smaller platform.

I agree with Wicked -- if possible, get the new brackets (but substantial install conversion work!) and then you can move into the VX.

This is what you should do.. Tell them you have a 2013 z3 and someone stole your platform and brackets.... This way you get a nice smooth platform and you get the nice billet brackets

What colours are there to make it sound better? I already phoned and talked to the guy so I'll have to get a friend to do it... They have my name and such... Sigh. I love the boat but def not loving tiges way of doing things right now...
