    tige 21V riders ed. 2000

I'm buying this boat, what to look for when
    inspecting that boat.

The owner has self made main switch and
DIY installed closed cooling. What do you
    think about that.

Any other tips will be helpful as well

Anyone that goes through the trouble of improving their boat, especially someone that does it themself, is most likely going to take care of the boat. Why put the time and effort to make it better, without first making sure it runs.

A cat got under my cover, and ripped some of my seats. Other than than, my boat has been babied. I have done much of the work, except the 20 hr overhaul.

Why? Because I think it's fun. It's actually really easy, and I get the self satisfaction. This guy may be in the same boat. .. Excuse the pun.

I have a 97' and no rot here. How was it stored? Inside or outside?

Don't sweat the wood stringers, they're totally enclosed with Fiberglass. I've got a '99 limited version of the same boat. We load it up with ballast and people with no problems. It handles the rough water very well.

I would have the engine inspected by a reputable dealer (good way to get to know them because you want them to be your best friend). That way you know what condition your boat is in and what to expect going forward. Also, go ahead and replace the impeller now, which is something you'll need to do every other year (very normal for boats like these).

The boat you're looking at is awesome (only the new 22Ve would be a better choice).

thanks everyone for answers, I test drove
            the boat yesterday.

worst thing we noticed was tower, I read this
forums and found reports on broken towers
on -01 have anyone broken tower in -00
(single tubes on upper corners, the broken ones had double tubes I saw in tower thread)

there were some cracks on gelcoat aroud the back mountings too.

does advanced rider has any complaints on the wake(with lot of ballast) whitewater etc?

the backmost fin had a just noticeable sign
of benting, could that be serios?

I'd have it checked out by the dealer.
