    Electrical issue with throttle controll?

Hi everyone. We just purchased a 2007 20V tige with 80 hours. We have put 25 hours on and yesterday I was teaching some kids at low speeds, then when I put the throttle down or to engage nothing would happen, if I shut the boat off and turn it on again it worked fine. It happened about ten times through the day, I also noticed that upon starting the boat it seemed to take longer for the Gage's to turn on then normal. It seems like a sensor out or electronic issue- it was acting like the cruise contol was set at 0
I am hoping someone can give me an idea of what this might be. Thanks

Did you get the ECM code read? This sounds a lot like my "saga" with my 06 24Ve. I finally replaced the pedal position sensor in the helm throttle mechanism. It can also be adjusted a tiny bit on the slide it is attached to. This adjustment could be all that is necessary. I would start with a diagnostic scan and get them to write down ALL the info they get off the ECM.

2X on the position sensor at throttle handle. Had to replace mine a while back. Do some searching on this board and you'll find it's a fairly common failure.

Not sure about the gauge delay.
