New to Tige, Rudder will not turn Left...

I just bought a 2001 21v Limited, took it out on the lake and the boat will hardly turn to the left, get it on the trailer and see that when you turn the wheel right the rudder turns far right, when you turn left the rudder barley turns left, the people I bought the boat from said that the steering cable is just a few years old, it turns great other then this. everything is super smooth with no binding or rough spots...please help?

I would pull the cable off the tiller arm and turn the tiller arm manually and see if it moves freely all the way forward and backward. Next, turn the wheel and see if it rotates stop to stop freely.

ok I will give that a try, thanks... Also what is the speed adjust knob on under the throttle?

Sync the dual speedo's usually.
