Did you buy that boat from a slender individual from Arizona?

That's the one. I used to boat with his friend here. Great work! Glad it found a good home.

So what was the 411 with it? like do you know why the wheels feel off? He seemed to be in love with for a time?

I really don't know, but I have heard many good stories from that boat.

B E A-UTIFUL job on the resto! Any chance you would like to do one on my 05? After taking a bath in concrete/fiberglass dust(prior to my ownership) the vinyl could use a touch up... What gauge/where did you get the new threads and did you use new foam or just re-cover the original? Looks awesome!!

I used size 207 polyester sun treated thread on this one... could have went to size 277 but I did not like the holes that a size 24 needle put in the vinyl.

pretty much just re-cover. most places minus where it was sun exposed was in great shape. just had to steam out a few to get them nice and fluffy. and patch in some 3/4 and 1 inch foam here and there.

                    Wow great work.

I just redid my 24V. Looks really good but not close to the detail that you have. Still working on the gel as I cant seem to get the full depth of the black back. Can still see the old decal marks.

If u haven't tried it yet, use 3M Finesse It. I removed some decals on my black part and it made it look new again. Then go back over it with 3M wax like it says. Easy stuff and there are others here that can confirm its the way to go.

Will give that a look. I have been using 3M Perfect it step 1 and 3 and has helped but not quite there. Not sure where I can get the Finesse it around here.

Down here it's in just about every marine store there is. I know you can get it online. It will work if you use a high-speed buffer w/ pad as the directions say.
