Under the dash, upper right hand corner. It's a black box that looks like the brain for a car alarm- got 6-7 wires coming out of the bottom of it- I'll get a pic as soon as i can- but anybody know what it is????
thanks,
Steve

Hmm. I have PP and have a box like you described. I thought it was the PP logic.
It may be some super secret tracking device placed their by friends of GW Bush without a court order. It will monitor your speed, location, boat loading, turn speeds, fuel consumption, and beers consumed. It will all be reported back to the NSA, CIA, FBI, and most fearfully the IRS.
Or it may be the control logic for the RPM and SPEEDO. I would have to look again and follow the wires when I get the cover off my boat.
I am with Lee.
The taps box on my boat is about ½” thick and about 4 “ square.
Mine sits high under the das on the right side. (Has two screws holding it on.)

Because to date Tige has not been able to do so consistently .
Now I never said that the information is reported back to the instrumentation on the boat, only to government agencies. GWB authorized all this domestic spying looking for terrorists. And we all know that Tige owners can be a terror on the water, striking fear into the very heart of Mastercraft owners.

And here I thought it was the black box recorder, in case of a crash, they could rewind the tape and hear "watch this, and hold my beer"
