    2001 2100V LE Tower Replacement

Alright.. so after looking for a new bimini for my metcrap tower.. I took off the pads only to find a nice crack... Did some searching on the forums (and some soul searching) and I feel it would be irresponsible of me not to replace it... looking for the bang for my buck tower... Wondering if anyone knows a great sale or my best bet.. would like to get a bimini and have somewhere to store the boards.. as every one else is on a budget during this downed economy... so am I... Also.. I would like to find one that bolts up where the old one was if that is possible... looking at this one here.. let me know what you guys think... This has been a long time coming.. glad I was able to get 4 seasons personally outta mine.. and 11 years total for the boat... bye bye metcrap though..

I think that MT2 is great choice, especially for that price.

Looks like I would have to put some new holes in my boat though.. What would I do with the old mounting areas? The spread is on 65 inches on my boat and the instructions for the MT2 says 75-85 inches is optimum..

Some TO installed pop up cleats in the leftover holes and one installed fender hanger cleats.

This is what I did when I replaced my metcraft tower. These are only the back holes, I ran speaker wire through the old front holes.

I put pop up cleats in my old holes. Works perfect. Cheap, easy, functional and good looking. I'm actually glad I couldn't use the old holes now.
