Would there be a problem with using a Synthetic Oil like Royal Purple in my V-Drive?

I use Royal Purple synthetic oil in all my vehicles and thought it would make sense to use it in my V-Drive too. I've been using it in my V-drive engine and it has been running great.

    Thanks,
    Al

You'll hear multiple inputs on this but no, there is no problem with running a synthetic in your v-drive as long as it's the correct weight oil, which would be listed on the identification tag for the v-drive.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

Thanks, I thought I was OK, but wanted to check to see if there was some technical reason why I shouldn't. Royal Purple also carries ATF... I assume that would be OK as well for my Velvet Drive Transmission
