05 22V muffler

I brought in my 05 22V (340 vortec) for summer servicing and was told it was taking on water from a cracked muffler. My service guy contacted the Tige dealer and apparently a replacement muffler is custom made to order by tige and takes about 3 weeks. Does anybody know if there an equivalent off the shelf replacement muffler available?

I had the same problem with mine. I opted to take it out myself and fix it. I used JB weld and then coated it with 3M 5200. Have not had a problem since. Do a search and you will find a thread of mine as well as one that Duffy did on his boat.

Both of mine came apart twice. They are now screwed together and re-fiberglassed.
