was told I can't put perfect pass on my 2006 22v... also told that tige speed control was next to imposible to install also.. any ideas?

It is a "V", not a "Ve", right? If your 06 V has a Marine Power engine with TBW (Throttle By Wire), which I would say are not common, then you have few options. If you 06 has a cable driven throttle, which was more common, then Perfect Pass is an option as thats what would have come on the boat from the factory if it was ordered.
If its a Ve, odds are it has a Marine Power TBW, and the boat should be pre-wired for the "Accue-Set", later called "Speed-Set" Tige Cruise option.
So it all comes down whether your engine is cable controlled or motor controlled.
