I'm looking around to possibly upgrade to a newer boat and found a z1 on the net. Engine is listed as a marine power, but it sure doesn't look like it to me.

The valve covers and exhaust manifolds look marine power. My MP has a different engine cover than that one does though. -
ya, the cover is really throwing me off. Maybe its a 6.0??

Looks like a 5.7 MP. I have the same motor on my 07 22ve, the red rubber ends on the hose clamps look familiar as does the distick and the exhaust manifolds. Looks like this guy has put in some custom build deck over the transom... are those door hinges welded to that support?Comment
