Plugs, Wires and Dist cap questions

I have a 2001 21V that started fine today, about 5 minutes later, once out of the slip it just died. Sounded like it ran out of gas and wouldn't start again. Luckily it was close enough to where it could be swam back to slip. After messing with several things, we pulled the wire on the distrubitor cap to see if we were getting a spark and just stuck it back on and it fired up and is running fine now. The cap did have some condensation in it that we dried. The boat has about 500 hrs on it, and as far as I know has never had the plugs/wires/dist cap changed. So.. I plan to do this now. My questions is, how do you know which set of wires, spark plugs and cap to buy? Any particular part number. It has a Mercruiser Mag 350 MPI.

    Any help appreciated (as always!)

805759T 1 Cap, 13524T 1 rotor, 84-816608Q83wires, NGK BPR6EFS or AC Delco MR43LTS plugs (DO NOT USE ANY CHAMPION PLUGS IN THESE MOTORS!!!!! YOU WILL BREAK THEM!!!!), and the reason it stalled 87-892150Q02 the ignition module sensor. All above parts are Mercruiser numbers.
Fixing everyone elses boat just so I can use mine...

If there was water down inside the distributor it would take a few minutes for the engine to heat it up enough for it to evaporate and condense under the top of the cap causing crossfires under the cap. It doesn't take much moisture. If you get a new cap I recommend getting one with brass contacts which most marine caps have. The caps with aluminum contacts don't hold up as well.
