The buzzing sound you hear could be your blower. I am not sure what year they started doing it but my blower comes on in the on position.

Is it an alarm buzzer or is it a mechanical buzzing sound? If its coming from the engine, I think the buzzing you are hearing is the fuel pump turning on.

I have a beeping sound that comes from my hummingbird depth finder each time I start the boat.

the buzzing is coming from the helm I think. Maybe it is just letting me know the key is in and to the right? I'm new to all of this.
