    What else can I replace

Its a full salt boat with a good amount of rust and all the pulleys rusted up, seized the alternator and broke the belt. I just replaced everything, rebuilt ALT, new belt, all new pulleys. I even replaced the spark plugs, impeller, fuel filter. Changed the oil in everything and replaced the steering cable. Anything else I can change out that could possibly leave me stranded in the water?

My biggest lesson, use a lot of WD-40 on a salt boat.

Did you pull the exhaust manifolds and make sure they aren't rusted shut or anything? I would just make sure that all of your water passages are clear if you have that much rust.

Not sure of the year of your boat but if you have a throttle/shift cable you may want to give that a once over.

I would also replace the rest of the ignition components. Cap, rotor, sensor, coil, wires.

Starter. If your alternator was toast, the starter can't be far behind.

Circulating pump. Another easy one that can done for fairly cheap. It will definitely be suffering if it has seen a lot of saltwater.

        Thermostat and housing. Easy one.

Head gaskets. This one sucks if you are not comfortable taking the heads off. If your oil looks good (not milky), leave em. However, you're gonna want to change them sooner than later.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

We use the boat once a week so the water passages should be fine, i bet they are rusty for sure. Ive lubed the throttle shift cables pretty good but I have no motivation to changes those out, the steering cable was bad enough haha.

But i forgot to mention this boat has been running all winter long, once a week.

The exhaust manifolds are pretty rusty on the outsides, especially where they are bolted to the risers. But its one of those things where I don't want to touch them until they break. My luck, Ill break the bolt off inside the block.

The boat also only has 250 hours and is a 2001. It sat In Havasu for 8 years rust free, brought back to Socal and started using it every week.

I will take a picture of the engine soon and let you guys decide on how bad it is.
