Cat out of the bag prop!

Well ACME is now giving out the information so my prop is as follows. 2249 its a 15 inch monster 14.25 with a .105 cup. they also have a bigger 2313 would be great with a smaller 343 engine and 4k+ weight. They also got some 5 blade stuff going out now!

I tell you what this prop gets the job done with 3600 lbs in the boat like its empty! =)

My top speed is still 45mph and the hole shots unreal with it! fully weighted down it feels like it did empty with the 537.

Why didn't you go with the 2247 that has the .150 cup?

So a prop like the 1235 (14.5 diam, 14.25 pitch, 0.105 cup) but with an extra 0.5" diameter (which, admittedly, is a lot). Really different from the stock 537 (13.5 diam, 16.o pitch, 0.105 cup).

I do not think I would have clearance on the trailer to run that 2249 prop.

So would you suggest I get one of these instead of the 1235 with the 343 engine?

I ran the 1235 on my 22Ve with the 343. I had every compartment filled with sacs for surfing and the 1235 performed flawlessly.

We ran the 1235 on our axis with the big engine and 3500+ pounds and wedge and it rarely had an issue. It never had an issue if we didn't use the wedge. I only plan on running the pro ballast set up but i know occasionally we are going to want to put an extra 1500-2000lbs in it.

No I would run the 2313 if it will clear

Didnt like the .150 cup with the 1273 I had didnt seem as smooth as the 1235 when using them. Almost like its just too much cup and bite
