We have essentially the same boat and bimini as you two. We stow it between the two upper cross members of the tower, just in front of the speakers. Same thing though, have to completely remove the bimini to get it in there, then reinstall the middle connection bolts, but then it is locked in there and don't have to worry about where to strap it.
