Her there everyone! I have a 2002 tige 2300v that I am planning on re-upholstering. I am looking for ideas on designs and mods. I also have a question if I can make side pockets for storage like the new models have. All ideas are welcome!

You can do it. First thing you need to do is pull it apart and figure out what can be done. Post up some pics and we can brainstorm. To give you an idea of what can be done, check out my ballast thread in the ballast section. Its obviously not the same project as yours but, it does show that it is perfectly doable to create completely different sections on your own. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Great detail in your ballast install. Do you have any pictures that are of the starboard and port inside of the boat? Would love to see a picture that is taken a little father away. Also is it possible to make a hatch below the seat compartments to access the floor/hull to install bags? I really do not want to have to pull the gas tank in the middle of the boat - I have a v drive so I have a ~6 ft tank in the middle of the boat.

I don't have any pics of the interior for some reason. I'll get some when I'm done. It's going in to get sprayed tomorrow so, once that'd done, I'll put it all back together and take some pics.
You might be able to pull out sections of floor in you boat. I know WAB did in his boat. http://www.tigeowners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15959 I think that is what your talking about. Not sure why you would have to pull the fuel tank. Maybe you could elaborate on exactly where or what you are planning or hoping to do. Sounds like you have a pretty clear idea what you want to do but, I'm having trouble deciphering your master plan. The fuel tank thing is really throwing me off. You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Actually I have 2 projects. The upholstery job and a balast install. I was wondering about access to the hull below the seats on the side of the boat for the ballasts. I am not exactly sure which thread I saw gave instructions to cut 6" holes through the fiberglass wall where the tank is located and stuff the bag through the hole. After seeing the picture in your thread I do not think this would be possible because of the stinger that runs the length of the hull under the side seats.
If I would remove the cushions on the side of the boat, is the fiberglass panel cut out or would I have to cut an opening to make side pockets?
