    RZ2 must have options

My fiancé and I are considering a 2012 RZ2. I feel like I have pretty much nailed the options but I want to check with Tige owners and see if there is something I have missed or if I have something included that is a total waste.

    Options:
ZR409 we live in the Denver area so the big motor seems like the way to go

    Cover

    Heater

    Docking lights

    Underwater transom lights

    Pro ballast

    Dual batteries

    Wet sounds poer premium

    Tower of power

2nd set of rev 10s and another syn 4

    Wet sounds 420 eq

    Alpha z tower

Tower camera (first option I'd get rid of but the fiancé really wants it)

    Clamping style board racks

    Bimini

    Surf pockets

    Fresh water strainer

Surf pocket bimini is a must. Consider the bimini extender if you have lots of hot sun -- that thing is huge.

Consider an after market cover, such as an Evolution.

Re clamping board racks, consider Samson. That said, those stock clamping racks have been getting a lot of positive feedback on TO.

I have always heard good things about evolution covers. About what do they run? I know if you become a paying member on the Malibu crew you get a discount. Anything like that offers for TO?

The clamping board racks are really expensive. However my buddy has them on his MC and I love them.

Not sure what comes stock in 2012 but:

Rear Transom remote is a must!!
Bow center cushion is nice to have...but I think the cooler is up there now.
Rear walkthu transom cushion don't bother,(I have one but have never used it)
Sirius Radio-I only get service for the summer months it's nice to have.
        2010 Tige RZ2 "Fully Loaded" 650hrs
Surf Ballast & Enzo Bag - 1235 prop

Hey Bruizza, glad you found us over here! Bill will probably recommend the Samson swivel racks to save a few bucks and then you can order the boat with the Wetsounds options or it's probably cheaper to put them in yourself or have WWS do it. My factory Tige cover is 5 years old now and still in pretty good shape, they are pretty good covers.

Timmy I defi Italy plan on sitting with Nick and Bill and seeing if we can get the price down some one way or another. the price difference on the Samson racks with bunnies vs the clamping racks is $2100! Still I'd hate to always wish I had the clamping racks.

Bruizza i will be selling my stock racks as i'm getting the new racks. What color is your tower going to be? I was told not to order the docking lights. We put our boat in the wet slip at night and the tower lights that come std are fine. The transom remote is nice if you hang out in shallow water or park near land. You can control your stereo and don't have to climb in the boat. The walk thru windscreen is a must on cool mornings on the lake. The Tige cover is VERY well made and should last for 7 to 10 years. Our 2007 cover is still holding up fine[the couple who bought it store it at the same marina].Chpthrill is a option and excellent resource if you want to take on the stereo yourself. He will guide you through it.I would say the stereo and docking lights could save you 3k or more.

I like the docking lights on my boat but I don't have the Alpha Z tower. We use the docking lights quite a bit at our private lake at night since there isn't a single light or even electricity at the lake.

We had the docking lights on our 2007 22 VE.The tower lights light up the water farther in front.Shirley says the docking lights just weren't as functional. She lovers the tower lights.
If you look at the last picture of our 2007 22 VE you can see how low to the water the docking lights are. When they are mounted on the Alpha Z tower they shine farther in front of you to give you better vision. The first pictures are of the racks i'm selling.

Robert it will have a white tower. I stopped by WWS after work and talked with Nick for a while. He is working on some things now to try and get the price down some. I could get rid of the docking lights but they are only $300ish. Not much of a savings lol. Nick is also working on the stereo stuff for me. My brother was a certified car audio installer for a while so putting it in myself/with his help is an option. However it would be nice to just pick the boat up 100% done and ready to hit the lake.
