Old phat tower board holders SUCK

I have this tower, and I don't know who designed the width of the board mounts but they will not hold any of our boards. We finally have a full quiver of boards. All Ronix 12': viva, one, parks. We run our boots as wide as possible and they won't even fit between the tower bars. We can put boards on the upper mounts but there is nothing holding them to the tower.

What can I do to solve this?

Having 4 boards, bags, and wet vests all over the boat is very annoying. I was looking at universal board racks but the only bars I can mount them are are either way too low or high and it will look dumb.

I had some racks from diywake on our Crownline's Skylon that worked perfect. Just about any aftermarket rack should work for you if you have the right mount though.

On our lower racks the boost fit in between the two holders. on the upper racks we have to move the board all the way forward with one boot in between the holders and the other boot in front of the forward holder. I'll see if I can find any pictures when I get home later?

I think you have a Samson dude. The Phat towers had the lower cross bar at an angle. The early Samson version has the straight one like yours. I think. Or is it an early Phat? They are really similar.

Sorry, I have no fix for you. Maybe give up wakeboarding and just surf?
