    Air Intake Hose?

    Greetings from Edmonton.
While exploring my new (to me) 06 22VE I noticed a very poor looking black plastic "dryer vent hose" inside the port storage area. Based on my research, I think it is an air intake for the engine. I want to replace it myself. Can anyone tell me the size, length, and where I should source such a thing (home depot?). My boat is in storage, so I can't get the measurements myself at this time.

    Thank you very much!

Yep, its the bilge vent intake. Air is forced through there into the bilge while the boat is under way. I think its 3", but could be 4" DIA. 6ft length would probably get it done. If its 3", ive got about 45ft of it

      Thank you chpthril.
Unfortunate that Tige chose that location...right in a key storage area.
Does the engine actually use this as a fresh air source? If so, it is a pretty important part of the intake system.

Any others in the boat I should find and potentially repair?
