info on 05 Tige Switch V

I found a local 05 Tige switch V for sale. What is a switch V and will it make a nice surfing wake?

It's my understanding that a 20 footer will make more of a steeper wake whereas you need a 22+ footer to have a longer pocket and more progressive wake.

    Thoughts?

The Switch series was a line that Tige only made for a few years. I had a Switch I which shares the same hull as a V. I thought that it was a great boat with decent WB wakes without any ballast. I don't know what kind of surf wake it would produce.

The price on that boat seems really high to me. They sold new in the mid 30's range.

My 20v has a great surf wake. Here is a picture with about 900#s in the starboard locker. I was only doing about 10.2 mph in that picture. Another TO, Majestic, and I were talking the other night and he said that if I bump my speed up a little (11.5 - 12 mph) the pocket will get a little longer and still have enough push.

I should also add this was the first day out with my ballast bags. I hadn't quite got it dialed in yet. It's a little messy, but it more than got the job done.

This was my 3rd weekend out attempting to surf:

I do no know where you are located at, but here is my SwitchV, 2004, for almost $3000 less. Mine only has 135-140 hours on it.
