2004 22V. Water distribution housing

Has anyone replaced the water distribution housing on a merc? I cannot get the 3 hoses off the unit to get it out of the boat for replacement.

replaced mine a few years ago. I don't rememeber much about the proceedure since it has been a while ago. sorry.
