Finished My Ballast Install 2008Ve

I recently completed installing two Johnson Ultra Ballast pumps to fill a custom rear port sac from chpthrll and a W711 bow sac. Mike put together a total install package and patiently coached me through the install. He designed the system to drain through the vents so I can see when the sacs are full and empty. It required a good bit more hose and fittings, and more work, but totally worth it. IMO, Mike is the guy to work with when you want to add ballast. I also want to put in a plug for Polaris Marine Electric who had the breakers I needed and first class customer service.

What breakers did you need? Do you have nay pics of your install?

I have a few pics and will post them when I figure out how to do so. I was looking for 25a breakers with screw terminals so they could be mounted directly to the buss bar replacing some unused breakers. Everyone had 20a and 30a breakers with quick connect male terminals.

did you have the factory ballast? im looking at getting those sacs for my ve too. can't wait to here how they perform..

I did not have factory ballast. The custom sac from Mike is really the way to go. It fits the rear locker and port seat area perfectly and adds enough weight to create a good surf wake. The fill and vent openings are in the right places to plumb the system for max efficiency. The W711 bow sac also fits well and plumbs into a system really well.
