    New tower for a 21V/2100V

    Guys,

I'm going to replace my factory '00 2100V Metcraft tower over the winter. I've never had the cracking issues people report on '01+ towers but I want something thicker and more modern looking.

Is there a factory tower from a newer model that will fit my boat? If so, anyone know where one is at a fair price?

If I can't find a factory one, I was leaning towards a Samsom Razor although I'd like to find something almost as nice at a cheaper price. I like the idea of being able to fold it down myself with ease, and I especially like the fact that it's custom made for my hull. I don't like universal fit. Thoughts??

Lastly, anyone interested in a '00 white Metcraft tower? I'm willing to sell it for whatever it's worth, if anything.

    Thanks.

I'm in the same boat man... Hopefully you get some good responses.. My tower began to come apart but I just put a set screw into it and she has held up thus far.. Let me know how much you sell that tower for... I'm guessing you might have to pay somebody to take it though.. lord knows they are a law suit in the making when they snap in tow.

Aerial Assault or Freeride tower looks great (especially on our boats), cost the least, and according to reports is solid!

I did finally get to see a Freeride in person about two weeks ago. It was on an old Centurion and he let me hang on it like a monkey and it wobbled a little but not bad at all. I love the Freeride, but will probably save myself the $400 and go with the Assault anyway. Plus you can still use the forward mounts and only have to drill new rear with it.
      Waiting for another good one!

Iwndr if you called Tige if they would sell you a tower from the new r20. That tower looks great and it doesn't look that hard to install.

I doubt it would finish out very clean. The base is just too wide for that hull. I would spend the money on the Sampson and move on. Do it, be done, live happy.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.
