I ride both pretty often and they are super different.

So you think Wheelhouse's wave is bigger than DJ Jamez? Might be taller but no way does it have a longer pocket. And for the record, who with an RZ2 or RZ4 has put in the kind of weight that either of those guys have? I haven't seen it.

From the research he did is that the wake is only affected above 22 mph between the diamond & the wake hull
All I have ever been told is dont buy a diamond hull if your focused on boarding rather than skiing.

I know multi pros that all same the same thing (leaving names out) that wheelhouses wave is the biggest and best. I don't know about length. DJ james is running at like 13-14mph! His boat is over weighted, he has water coming over his sun pad while he surfs! I think mine is taller then DJames but not as long. He always post pics of that barrel. My old centurion avalanche (same hull as his just longer) did the same thing when I did an opposite turn and slowed down a bit. But my rub rail in my 24v isn't even below water so I feel like I am being safe. Same thing with the 247. 3k+ pounds of ballast and the boat is still safe. At least in my mind

Dave cares more about wake correct? Also mastercrafts show some amazing wakes. They are also huge! Just not the cleanest wakesurf waves.

I'd like to see an RZ2 with 3k lbs of ballast for comparison but you don't need it. Multi pro's, there's only like 5. LOL!
Also, have you seen an RZ2's wakeboard wake with the pro ballast option? Most everyone's comparison to 'Bu's and MC's is before Tige started loading their boats up.

(BTW - just giving you crap Duffy!)

I run 3k of ballast and my wave is amazing. But I don't have the wedge I have the best surf boat I can afford!
