You are going to think this is odd, but we invite people all the time to come out with us on this boat and our old one. We get so many excuses and people that flake at the last minute. This is why I was only really considering one bag, but after discussing it with the wife she wants to just go ahead and get two so that we don't have to mess with another one later.

Nope, don't think it is odd at all. I think this is pretty common, inviting peeps out and then having them flake. What makes it intersting is when you invite some out with some extras invited to cover for the flakes and then they all show up!

If you really get into this stuff...surfing and all then X2 on the FAE. You are right, it is a good winter project.

I just bought 2 W719 bags and a pump for a total of 2200 pounds!
One bag in each locker. WOO HOO!

Congradulations!! I don't think you will be disappointed in having two instead of one. Do you have any other ballast for when it's just you and the wife and a flag holder?

Nope, it's just the wife and the little human. My son turns 11 in 15 days, and officially is a tweener, or pre-teen. So he looses little human status then. The two of the combined weigh maybe 170 pounds, and that's both of them soaking wet. HAHA!

I went with these bags because they are rated to hold 1100# a piece. So I am hoping with my small locker size I will be able to get about 800 - 850 out of one bag.

I look at it like this. The one bag will be in the starboard locker full time. The other one will be put up and out of the way, and only brought out when needed.

I didn't mention this, but I got this setup through chpthril. He put up with my emails all day today. Have to give the man props for dealing with my lazy butt on a Sunday. I don't think he realized that I was talking with him most of the day while I was watching the new Harry Potter film at the theater. Yeah, I was that guy today

He beat the best price I could find on the net by almost $40+

Recieved the first bag Friday afternoon. The other bag and pump are due Monday. So I barrowed a pump from a co-worker. Filled the bag about 3/4 of the way and the wave was great!!! So we stopped, and filled it some more and the wave was even better. Holy crap am I happy boy right now!!!!!!
