Swim Step Depth...Water in the boat?

I think you are OK. I have an '01 21V Riders Edition and the swim step is low. Probably in the water a couple of inches. At first I thought it was a little odd, but I checked everything out, and everything is water tight. Plus the family loves it because it makes getting out of the water easier. Below is a picture. You can see my nephew's hand under the water a bit.

My '99 21V step sits like WA's 22Ve

Went out this weekend and saw that my swim step sits just fine.. It as a little loose though.. I also noticed a little bit of hairline cracking on the top of it.. Is this normal and what should I do?

Mine has some cracking as well. I would think normal. Make sure it is tight to the brackets. There is some movement just because of how the brackets are made.

Thanks! I figured as much.. my buddies just had me worried.. jerks.. lol.. just drink your beer and ride in the boat.. not a hard life..
