Mine is the same. My 21i was even further under water.

So for me it seems odd it's so high "out" of the water

Mine sits about 2 inches in the water unless my bags are full. Then it sits about 6-ish.

Platform on our RZ2 is usually underwater from ballast -- which is a good thing given that we trained our dog to pee on command while on the swim platform

Just to clarify: Are you aware that there are 2 drains on the 2100V? One in the transom and one under the V-drive.

I have looked for one under my V drive but didn't find one, and I just did my steering cable I will have to check again tomorrow now.

My 2000 has 2. I use the center drain and access through the opening where the table support goes as I have no optional table. Just under the end of the v drive.

How often to you have to drain it and can you just leave the plug out so the water will go straight to the back or does the plug drain it out underneath the boat? That area is a pain to get to.. ADVICE PLEASE?

Thanks... how bad was that steering cable process? About how many hours and how many swear words? I have had my 2001 2100V for the 3rd season now.. about 70 hrs on it since I have had it.. and have never greased the cable at all.. I need to get on that since my steering to the left has been getting worse I think..

My inboard has two... transom 1/2" square plug.. and a T-handle at the front of the motor. Try laying under your trailer and see if you can find the other.

My bilge outlet is on the starboard side. My boat lists to port... when weighted

You should have one. Take the little wingnuts off the back seatrest and pull that fiberglass seat bottom out and it's right under there. Hrm, actually you can probably just lift that triangle cushion out and take that cover off underneath it there.
                              Waiting for another good one!

Ya I still have all that out and the carpet above the gas tank. I forgot to check last night. Figured I would have seen it just did a trans and V drive fluid flush.
