    Ah screw it.. never mind.
You guys have at it.. Im done in this thread.
I did mix two together, I was trying to answer both complaints, nither is a manufacturer issue , I stated in your case this isnt a Tige issue, raw water filters is an option, and even without the filter this isnt a problem because when the boat is in for service the tranny cooler is part of the normal service performed every 50hrs, if the dealer forgot to check it its his responsebilty and he is at fault, or the customer did his own service and didnt check his cooler and its his fault.
Only one manufacturer came equiped with a strainer as standard and that wasnt till the 80s.

I think what you should do GJ is drop a 24v cummins in there and then you will be 100% certain as to what is going on and you will get a little power boost too.

Dude.. it takes like 4 seconds for the tranny cooler to plug off. Not 50 hours. Seriously, youre missing the point. It's an INSTANTANIOUS issue.. happens immediately and then the boat gets hot... like mine did. We drove through something in the water and it plugged the tranny cooler. There were 20 hours on the boat, and it had just had it's 20 hour at the dealer. A boat with a limp-mode controller would have been fine... or a boat with a strainer.. would have been fine.
(big fat red crayon to draw a picture)

        Again.. never mind.

I've got an 03 Ford Expedition with a load of electric sensor issues. It's a common problem from what I understand but I don't throw Ford under the bus and say f#$k them I'll never get another one. I take it somewhere and get it fixed. What do you want Tige to about it? Send a guy to your house?? What questions can you ask Tige that will really help that should not be presented to a good mechanic?? Take the damn thing out and get it fixed by a reputable mechanic. Then you can sell it and buy your PCM in a Malibu or a Mastercraft. Not one of the PCM's ever built has EVER had any problems whatsoever. They're perfect.
No wonder you're without service man...I can't imagine what type of customer you would be.

Ah yes...the 2003 Expedition. Mine decided to blow the engine at 79K miles...known issue with blocks cracking. $7000 later I have a new engine and three more years on the warranty. And you know I'm gonna beat this to hell since it's under warranty! LOL. But you have to know I didn't go on any Ford forums and cry that I wasn't going to buy a Ford ever again. Sheesh...

I can clearly see there is about 90% of people whom cant read. I told you what I wanted. All I wanted to know what the fuel and timing algaryhms. Dont worry tho I handled it without them making any effort as a phone call would cost them alot of money!

I thought you just wanted to bitch?

When I called Tige with my first boat ever and it was a 98 they called me back and got me the info I needed on my taps system and who to contact at Bennett trim tabs for more info Sorry you had such poor luck at this I think it might have taken 1 or 2 days to get back to me with some one that knew but they did.

Honestly you have just come across like a winey kid with your post here.

Btw what you are asking for what most likley PCM and propiertary info and they would not give it to you anyways. But hey let's get all bent out of shape over it.

lol why wouldnt they give it to me? Nothing top secrect that I cant get with a scan too.. With the 2 hours I used the Diacom I can pretty much tell you that there fuel and spark tables are SIMPLE and not much to them. But with out 02 senors thats a given. Fuel timing and duration and spark timing are all from map vs load... yippie all i wanted to know was what inputs they use for power down. would been real secrect information to give out with a phone call. Asking a WHOLE lot to give me five to ten mins of a phone call.. I know I was asking for them to really bend over backwards for a boat they sold for 60k! damn me being so greedy! My bad lol

My mother (who I love) thinks the cable company, the phone company, the gas company and the county tax collector's office are intentionally going out of their way to screw up her life. The fact is, she is an angry rude woman who attacks customer service people and demands everything be done to her specifications on her schedule. When people try to help, she puts them in no win situations to try to achieve some victory over these authorities that she abhors.

Maybe when it feels like people are treating you unreasonably, the only think to change is yourself. ....By the way, my mother does not subscribe to this approach.

If what you ran through clogged your tranny cooler in 4 seconds then your strainer might have lasted 10 seconds so how would that have changed anything?
