    Wont buy a Second

Well feel like venting right now.. This is my first Tige and will in fact be my last. Bought this bought in january with only 130 hours on it. Changed the plugs all fluids, cap rotor wires and both fuel filters and two new batterys.

Thanks to boat manafatures they use a differnt DLC to scan this engines. So I cant connect to it and get information I need to figure out why its a PIece of $hit and wont run. I now have replaced both fuel pumps. Cam, crank, and knock sensors due to no power and intermediate back fire. Not sure if any of you have ever been to a Tige dealer but the Techs they high are the same of Jiffy Lube.

I called PCM and left messages. I emailed them and left messages for some help and No returned calls or emails..

I should have bought another malibu or mastercraft.

THANK YOU TIGE FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. I WILL NEVER CONSIDER BUYING A NEW BOAT after this. WE planned on trading it in towards the end of the year for a 2011 but there is no way after seeing the support they give to older owners.. THANKS

    Vent done..

You bought a used boat....and that's Tiges fault it doesnt run right

PCM wont return your call......and that's Tiges Fault

Your automotive scantool wont work on the marine ECM...and that's Tiges fault

So you will never consider buying a new boat because of an experience with a used one

Who at Tige, or what Tige dealer has not given you support for your 9 year old boat?

I dont care how old it is.. It was 130 hours on it.. Your damn right I wont buy another. O since its brand new they cant return calls or help out? Yes its flat out retarded they dont work with OB2 scan tools. If they want to change all this up maybe they should train or have there dealers employee people who can fix them.

So yes I wouldnt consider another Tige beings at 130 hours its useless. As I see they will stand behind it and help out if its brand new. Sorry but that wont happen beings im not sure there new boat will make it past 10 hours either. Thats pretty shitty in my opion no matter the age. Tige has no check engine light and no way to flash codes with a bulb or anything.

You got a bad dealer in your area. Last time I checked tige doesn't manufacture the engine and other brands use the same engine. If you want a boat that has no problems buy a canoe!

Sounds to me there was a reason the previous owner sold the boat - trashed it - Bill, Bill,Nick, Cory, Donna - all the people at Colorado Tige dealership in Colorado/Denver are awesome, great people so if you have trouble with them good luck dealing with anyone - the local Tige dealer/service department is not the problem..good luck with your next used boat..maybe better check it out little more before you buy. Cheers!

My boat is over ten years YOUNG and she runs like charm. I'm sure even Malibu has put out a boat on either a Mon or Fri and something slipped.

Guess you weren't wise enough to get a test run in your boat. Seems if I was getting myself into an investment like a boat, I would want to see it run. If it didn't run and you still got it then that was the risk you were willing to take. I'm sure it was a great boat until someone didn't take care of something. That's not the Manufacturer's problem.

                  Tige

I have had nothing but a bunch of empty promises from tige myself. Now they got there money they won't return my calls. They forgot my spare tire bracket and said they sent it to mr twice. I have never seen it also took my boat in for service and now my dash controls don't work. Yes fuses are good and all master switches are on so I don't know.

Just curious as to how long that boat sat before you bought it? 130 hours is super low.

Did you not run it before you bought it?

I am kind of lost at how this is Tige's fault. Has your frustration made it in to your e-mails? You know what they say about sugar and salt.
You'll get your chance, smart guy.

Your right they are great people. What I am talking about is someone who can actually fix them and not guess. I want someone who can tell me the programing algaryhms of the ECU. And the boats trashed? dood the boats it BRAND NEW condition. THe ENGINE IS A POS. I did drive the boat and it ran great for the first 20 hours. THIS IS A CURRENT issue. So dont jump on $hit talking when I am venting How I think it is shitty the Dealers dont have better trained techs and when you call the Manafature for help they dont!

I do like my tige but don't like the service or the problems I have with it it only had 4 hours on it. Just had it dewinterized and the lights and taps don't work so for 63000 yeah I'm a little upset too
