I have an 08 22VE where the starboard hatch keeps popping open during travel on the hiway. Its been repaired numerous times & Tige just replaced the hatch under warranty although I did have to pay the labour. Well it happened again with the brand new hatch but this time it pulled the threads out of the shock. Any suggestions? Very frustrating!

Sounds like the strike is not getting adjusted. The washers between the fiberglass and the latch worked for me. It still pops occasionally but not often.Comment

Thanks for that but we have done exactlty all of that & it still popped open. The only solution I feel is to install the same twist style latch that is on the port side. Anybody have success with that?Comment
