I took the boat out last weekend at put up the bimini top. Great design and integration to the Z tower! Problem was that at speeds over 30 MPH, the canvas created a vibration where it reseted against the outside edges of the tower. On both sides the canvas was moving enough to create an extremely noticable and annoying vibration. I tightened the velcro as much as possible, but could not get it to stop. It is a brand new boat and bimini. Has anyone else run into this and discovered a fix? I am considering asking my dealer to order another top.

Make sure the Velcro wraps are on the correct pole. They should be on the pole that forms the front shape of the Bimini and rotate on the tower, they should not be on the inner poles that adjust and clip in to make the Bimini tight. We did this on one side last week.
Also make sure that the pole that clips in is slid all the way up to the black plastic retaining collar before you try to lock it in or some well intentioned assistant will try to force the pole to clip in and will stretch the ---- out of your Bimini top or worse yet bend or break some part trying to muscle it in.

Guapo - I have the standard, but have thought about adding the extended. This may be the excuse I need to do it. Do you recall what you paid for the extended option?
kerlee - I will pay attention to the configuration next time out. Thanks for the details!
Is it just me, or is this bimini top one of the more difficult ones on the market to assemble and collapse? I have never owned a boat that required two sober individuals to put the bimini on!

You are correct this top is difficult to put on and takes two people to do easily. I also have the extended version. Like the shade alot, I think the front part on the extended version swoops up a little more than the standard version. Also when storing the top away make sure the 2 adjustable arms in front are swung inward when putting them in the bimini bag as I have had one slide off and stay in the driveway when we went to the lake. I actually use 4 extra bungee cords. two to seal the ends of the bimini bag when travelling and 2 toward the center to support the weight of the bimini bouncing along when travelling to and from the lake. despite all of that I think it is one of the best bimini's out there as there are no straps once it is up.
