2008 22 Ve for sale with 70 hours

It is not mine and I have no interest in it. Just posting here in case someone is looking. It looks like the twin of my boat - low hours, Samson tower. If the link doesn't work, just search ebay for Tige and it is about 8 boats down.

I have no idea what the reserve is on this boat, current bid is 35K and below reserve.

Thanks for posting this mls6722. We were a day late and a dollar short calling Joel on the boat you purchased as you had already committed to buying it by the time we called. Congrats on a beautiful boat as it was exactly what we were looking for (and more) with a reasonable price tag. Based on the options that your boat has (pretty much everything) and what you paid, what would you consider a good buy on this boat? Here is what it doesn't have that your boat does:

    Ballast
    Bimini
    Heaters
    Transom Remote
    Tige Cover

Let me know what you think?

I am certainly not the authority on pricing the boat. In my opinion, the lack of ballast is only a minor issue. I expect that I will be pulling my hard tanks and rebuilding the lockers to fit the custom sack next fall.
I paid Joel's asking price of 40K and feel that it was a very good deal. If the boat looks like new, I believe it is worth several thousand more. Just my opinion. In the end, like my Dad always said, "it's worth what someone will pay for it". You can easily figure what you would spend to add Bimini and heater.
I was confused about his ad where he stated that he changed the oil twice since he picked it up in 2010. Was this an 08 sold new in 2010? Is he the second owner?
I will tell you that Joel showed me NADA for the boat at 54K and there was no way I was paying near that for an 08 22Ve.

Others have any opinion on fair market value? Good luck.

I bought a new 2008 22Ve in 2010 for $42,000 that was tricked out similar to the boat on ebay... plus extended bimini, Tige cover and a Boatmate trailer. If this is similar (new 08 in 2010) then something less than $42,000 would make sense, $38,000 would be a decent price I think. The other question would be is it still under factory warranty... if it is not then I would pay less than $38,000 for it. If 2nd owner certainly less and if it was new and bought in 08 then maybe a little more than $38,000. The deal with the 08's that were sold new in 2010 is that GE finance let the dealers get rid of the boats for 80% of dealer invoice...
