If you can get me a part number it would be great. There is one listed on ebay for $70.00. But dont know if it is the correct one or not. It is round and for marine. Let me know. Thanks

I was wondering how the transome remote hooks into the system and if there is something I should be looking out for. Like will I need a special cable or adapter?

You need a Y that will plug into the back of the head unit. The helm remote will plug into one side of the Y and the other side will be for the transom remote. You will also need a cable long enough to get to the transom. I found all of that on Amazon.com

Thanks for the info. That will be the first project for the spring and then I will work on the ballast automation.

If you are adding a transom remote, I think you will also need to get the extension cable IIRC. This will get you from the transom to the mid-ship storage.

Oops, I see Majestic mentioned the extension cable.

Do yourself a favor on the ballast system.. get all the parts from chpthril. I'm happy to provide any pictures or assistance you need, I couldn't have done it without chpthril guiding me through and answering all my stupid questions.

After reading, thinking and planning I will be using chpthrl for all the needs. I already have some bags and pumps but plan to spend a little time learning the boat and where everything should be placed. In the end it will probably be very similar to the ones installed by you guys. I just got the boat and have only spent a few hours oin it last weekend and did not get a cchance to play with the current ballast set up.

Looks good. I also bought my boat in the late fall and watched it sit all winter until it was warm again. I feel your pain!

                        Beautiful boat

Beautiful boat and trailer. I like the tag line in your posts! I just got my 22Ve a week ago. I haven't slept in it in the garage, but I have thought about it. Welcome
