An epic day on the RZR

Okay it's official, the RZR is one badass towboat. After towing Hyperactive's new RZR over the Rocky Mountains from Calgary to Kelowna, the crew spent the afternoon today on Kalmalka Lake. The surf wake was unbelievable with factory ballast and five adults aboard. Some slalom turns were made and a longline barefoot pass made on the butter-smooth waters (sorry no photos of that run).

    This boat rocks!!

Wow, that is an impressive surf wake from a "smaller" size boat. It's interesting how counterintuitive it seems but it is demonstrated here that smaller boats are easier to weight to get a nice surf wake.

love to see a stock ballast wakeboard wake and compare it to the A20. Seems like those are the two 20ft boats to really look at.

Excellent surf wave. Did you have any wqeight in the front? If not, you could add some to lengthen the pocket.

              Beautiful water too!

I want to see that in person. That RZR seems to be living up to the hype. I love the lines incorporated into the boat. I wish they would have done the front cushion the same way on my RZ2.
                GO BIG!!

Is that 1600 pounds total or 900 plus 1600 for the surf option?

                        1,600 total.

You can get the boat with either 900 lbs of ballast

                        or

                        1600 lbs of ballast.

What is the distribution and is the weight up front divided or a single sac? I can't believe how narrow the beam is. What an awesome boat!

I believe it is a Single Horseshoe shape 400 lbs Sack in the bow.

2 250 lbs hard tanks under the floor in the rear, and 2 350 lbs sacks on top of the floor in the rear.

So 400 up front 1200 in the rear.
