Teak swim decks??

Hello y'all,

I recently had a bit of boat damage to get sorted out and fixed.

As of right now, most of the mechanical and cosmetic damage has been addressed and is being fixed. The one thing I need help with is the swim deck. You can no longer get a Tige issued teak deck, so the insurance is just going to buy me an aftermarket one. I really just want one like the original or something close. Does anybody have any suggestions on where to get one?

Try to get a template from someone with a Tige deck and have one made. Someone here has made their own.

You can use mine as a template. Not sure if yours has the same dimensions as mine though.

Thanks guys. I still have my old one and plan to make a template over the next few days. I found a place out in Florida that makes them and will ship to me. His rough estimate was $500.

You may want to try Teak World Enterprises in Lebanon Tennesse. They were the supplier of Teak Platforms in 2007. The contact is Tommy Nation 615-444-7269.
They became the supplier to Tige and replaced the Irocko wood platforms with teak in 2007. Maybe they can help.
