I have a 01 21V riders edition. My speedo is not currently working. The display is functioning properly showing the depth and the light also works. The needle just will not move. The paddle wheel is free and appears to work fine. Does it have something to do with the sensor and if so do I need to replace the whole unit.

I hear a lot of folks talk about the paddle wheel. My boat has an air line. I popped of the line at the speedometer and at the sensor out back and forced air through it. Then with a very small needle, I cleaned the dirt and muck out of the little hole. Put it all back together and it worked like a champ...Waiting for another good one!
