Can factory ballast be asymmetrically loaded?

The old (non-programmable, etc.) factory ballast system just talks about hard sided tanks in the rear. Can those tanks be filled separately to favor one side or the other for wakeboarding, or are they plumbed together and it's always evenly weighted side to side?

    Thanks!

good question - I'm gonna try this weekend. I would expect yes for rear tanks.

They are controlled by 2 separate switches and can be filled up asymmetrically for wakeboarding if you want but especially for wake surfing. For wakeboarding you are better off getting people to move around in the boat or get a little ballast bag like the fat brick (85lbs I think). But if you really want to trim the boat with ballast I wold fill both sides full, then get up on plane and empty the side you want lighter, probably the driver side, until the wake is uniform.
