    Titan

Have you thought about getting a Titan tower? They can custom make a tower for your boat for a little bit more then a universal tower. But remember you get what you pay for. If you go cheap you will get cheap. Try calling 916-858-1178 ask for brett and see what they can do for you!

I used their Pro Series tower. Here's their webpage:

They have them for any make and model. Call them and tell them what you have and they'll set you up.

Mine cost under $1K for the tower. The racks added a bit. Still an awesome deal.

        Hope this helps!
I used this exact tower (and color) on my old boat, very good solid tower but a huge PITA to put up and down. I had to do that every time we went and came back because I kept the boat in a low garage, and sometimes drop it out to and in from our riding spot because of a low bridge.

Ya my last tige had a joystick tower on it. It was a very solid tower the one i had did not fold.

I took my boat out last night for a quick set. so far very happy with the tower. Will give a more detailed review and pics after i get some real use out of it over labor day weekend.

Tell me more about the Joystick! I am working a deal with them to be come a dealer/installer for them. They seem like a good tower, but having feedback from one thats been in service a couple years is important.

                Solid tower, solid company.

Read my writeup about how I evaluated the various tower companies. Bottom line, Joystick was the best at pre-sales customer service. I don't know about post-sales because I didn't and haven't needed anything.

The tower has been installed for three seasons now. No vibration, no rattles, no noise of any kind.

Their board racks are great, too. Only drawback is the adhesive-backed rubber gasketing material they use between the tines... the adhesive can get weak after a while, so that the ends of the rubber bumpers flop around a bit. Easily fixed with spot adhesive. Not specific to Joystick, either.

I really like how all of the hardware is solid billet aluminum. It looks strong, it feels strong, and most importantly it IS strong. None of those wimpy Heim joints like you see on Monster towers and others. Big, solid metal parts that are precision machined.

The only thing they don't have is an illuminated tow point. I really like how some of the tower makers have installed lights in the top of their tow points so you don't have to fiddle with a nighttime aft light pole. Tige does this with that flippable light/tow point on the Alpha Z tower. Joystick could do that too, and it would be a welcome upgrade.

Were I looking to sell aftermarket towers, my first choice would be Joystick. Highly recommended!

Thanks for the review, but unfortunately, I have had to rule out Joystick as a vendor. They no longer build the Universal (I need one NOW) and stated it would be 4 weeks+ to have me one. I asked about dealer cost for the next tower up and was quoted the same price as they are being peddled on the internet. So, no room for dealer market which makes being competitive impossible

Really, you MUST have the Universal? Don't be fooled by the name, the Pro-Series (which is what I have) is very adjustable in all dimensions. Looks far nicer IMHO, too.

That's too bad. I found their retail prices to be well below other brands, so if your customer is comparing to Samson, etc. there should still be plenty of margin for you. My pricing was a couple of years ago, though, so things may have changed.

                        Good luck!

Yes. back in February, I borrowed a Joystick Universal for my tower display for the boat show. I build the whole soundboard around the tower. Now that I have a permanent shop, I am reassembling the display/soundboard. I did not want to have to rebuild the whole thing, so I was looking into buying a Universal and becoming a Joystick dealer at the same time. After talking to the owner, although he did indicate they had a dealer program, he indicated that a dealer network was not their focus.

yes, their retail prices are competitive with other towers, and cheaper then others, but as a dealer trying to sell one to a potential customer for more then what they can buy one, which is at or near the same price I am buying it, makes it impossible to make the sale.

                            Unless it's bundled with installation.

I was considering the Monster MT2 any other suggestions. Also the metcraft has a pair of wetsound pro 80's with mount for that tower diameter size I am assuming I will also have to get new mounts for the speakers as well or can you just replace the rubber insert part?

The samson towers are a bit out of my price range I want to spend on a older boat... The MT2 with 2 racks, mirror and Biminni top is 2500.
I just received my new Aerial Airborne tower in the mail today for my 99 21V. I got a package deal from ebay, tower two racks four speakers for 1500. I also order Arial's swivel brackets for the racks but the dont seem to swivel very far. I put some picks up when I put it all on.
