Metcraft ** metcrap) what tower did you replaces yours with?

Like the title. I am want to replace the metcrap tower this thing is so flimsy its unreal I was really surprised to see how much it wobbles side to side. It has one very tiny hair line crack... for now.


I was considering the Monster MT2 any other suggestions. Also the metcraft has a pair of wetsound pro 80's with mount for that tower diameter size I am assuming I will also have to get new mounts for the speakers as well or can you just replace the rubber insert part?

The samson towers are a bit out of my price range I want to spend on a older boat... The MT2 with 2 racks, mirror and Biminni top is 2500.

Great choice. My Monster Tower has held up well and I love how I can fold it flat to fit in my garage. Their customer service is second to none. If stuff breaks or has other problems, they replace it no questions asked. Not only do you get quality stuff at a great price, they really stand behind their products.

Hey Dogbert, can you post a pic of your boat with the Monster tower. I have to do the same conversion. Those hairline cracks get big in a hurry. First generation tower, they have all come a long way.

Dont want to spend that much on a older boat

( I am still trying to save for an RZ in 3 years) But still want my current boat to be enjoyable for what I use a boat for.

I would just leave the tower if I wasn't so worried of it breaking and injuring a passenger.


But now that I look at it that's not to much more I just want to keep the complete cost under 2800-3000K ( tower, 2 racks, Bimini)

It's new for this Spring, and I dont know of any one that has installed one yet on any of the forums I cruise.

the 2nd one will cost me around 400 more... But it will also have a larger Bimini top.

Plus the Aerial Bimini top sits up higher to the tower I also like that more as well...

I just realized the Aerial Assault's price includes 2 board racks witch actually makes it cheaper then the other tower and adding 2 racks...

That tower just moved to the top of my list. I need to now decide to pull the trigger soon or make it a winter project....
