Bent prop on 2006 22Ve how do I replace it?

I bent my prop a little bit last weekend at Lake Powell and was wondering on how to replace it or figure out what size it is. Any info would be greatly appreciated...
    thanks...

The size should be stamped on the hub. You will probably need a puller to get it off. Getting it repaired will be a lot cheaper than replacing it.

You should be able to get it repaired. You might be able to find a place locally, and if not, you can send it to Acme, and they'll repair it and send it back. It needs to be done right, or you'll get vibration.

Also, consider getting a spare prop with a "weekend saver kit" (for changing them out).

I would call ACME tell them what you use the boat for and ask on the one you are getting repaired. Before you call get the current info stamped on your prop right now. Number for ACME 1-888-661-2263

I would then get in contact with chpthril of the forum here to order your new ACME prop and saver kit.

I had mine repaired a couple weeks ago and it cost $140 here locally in Chattanooga. There are (2) local prop repair places. I think you can ship to them also. Dan's Prop Shop and the other is Performance propellar. I believe they both have web pages. When you use the puller tool, leave your nut on the drive shaft and just back it off a couple of turns then tighten the puller and "tap" the puller bolt with a small hammer. This will knock the prop loose without causing any damage. This is a key part of using a puller and if you don't "tap" the puller with a hammer, the prop will bind up on the shaft and key. Let me know if you have any other questions.

                  You have the ACME 537. It's a 13.5" dia x 16.0" pitch with .105 cup and fits a 1-1/8 shaft.

When I wanted to try a different prop on my last boat I didn't have a prop puller and it wouldn't come off. I took a heat gun and warmed up the brass where the shaft goes though, and eventually came off pretty easy. Didn't seem to create any issues using the heat gun. Before I tried the different one and eventually back to the original, I had taken a little and I mean alittle bit of "anti-seize" and put in on the shaft and on the key right at the spot where the prop seats itself a few inches from the end of the shaft. Seemed to work for me.
